Hello to all our wonderful supporters of ACT. We are finally ready to dust off our fundraising skills and are now calling all golfers!!! From the scratch handicappers to those that play once a year duffer we need you all. We are happy to announce the 2nd annual Animal Compassion Team Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, November 1sth at historic Belmont County Club in Fresno. In case you might not remember, we had our 1st tournament, June of 2019 at Fort Washington Golf & Country Club. It was an awesome event at a beautiful golf course, staffed by their terrific employees and enjoyed by a nearly full field of golfers. A good time was had by all!! Due to COVID 19, the 2020 tournament had to be canceled so here we are 2021!! Here is how to get involved.
We need golfers – teams of 4 or if you do not have a 4-some we will help build one. Please share with friends and family. We would love to have as many players as possible. Hopefully with this advance notice players who work can plan for a day off. “SAVE THE DATE”
Tee box and Putting Green sponsors – Have a business or service that you want to promote – or maybe to honor a pet that has crossed over the rainbow bridge, here is how you can. Tee Box signs 18X24 are $200 and Putting Green signs 12X18 are $100. If you would like your personal sign after the tournament, we would be happy to give it to you!!
Raffle Items – we will have a raffle for the players and attendees, and we will be needing gift cards, service-related certificates (hair care, spa – massage)- etc. to be featured.
Volunteer – We will need volunteers to help set up in the morning – Check-in golfers and sell raffle tickets, help handle dogs in the morning – finalize raffle and take down our tables, etc. in the afternoon.
You are not a golfer but would like to join us for dinner – we can make that happen – “dinner only” is a donation of $50.00. Come out, have a meal and be a part of the fun. If you would like to donate to the event, please use the donate button on Facebook or donate directly to ACT.
